Job Title: Pediatric Nursing Assistant - Therapeutic Recreation

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pediatric Nursing Assistant - Therapeutic Recreation to join our team at St. Margaret's Center.

About the Role:

  • Assist in providing therapeutic recreation programs and experiences for residents, promoting cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Life team to design and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the well-being of residents at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members, fostering positive relationships and open dialogue.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in care and recreational programs for individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
