This position is a full-time role during the first shift.
In this position, you will:
- Oversee laboratory operations, focusing on identifying improvement opportunities and executing strategic action plans.
- Assist the Chemistry Manager in achieving organizational goals, while fostering and motivating your team.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including clients, patients, and team members, with a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Analyze business metrics, streamline processes, and enhance profitability.
- Promote safety, compliance, and quality assurance throughout the laboratory.
- A minimum of six (6) years of laboratory experience or training in a high-complexity testing environment.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, working independently under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science) or equivalent qualifications as a supervisor under current CLIA regulations.
- Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or a similar credential.
- Prior experience in a clinical laboratory or related service sector.

This role involves regular access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
