Job Title: Equipment Technician II

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician II to join our team at Innova Solutions. This is a full-time, onsite position working night shifts in Wilmer, TX.

Job Summary:

The Equipment Technician II will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment in our factory. This includes troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and fix issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and prevent downtime.
  • Assist with the installation and alignment of new equipment, using hoists, jacks, squares, and other tools as needed.
  • Support the repair of faulty equipment, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or higher in a relevant field, such as machinery, electronics, or automation.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the photovoltaics manufacturing industry or semiconductor production industry.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Good knowledge of pneumatic systems and the ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, and hand tools.
  • Ability to use data analysis tools, such as MS Excel, to track and analyze equipment performance.
  • Dedicated and hardworking individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
