Job Summary:
Tacoma Community College is seeking a Clinical Professor - Respiratory Care to join our team. As a Clinical Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and supervising students in the Respiratory Care program. This is a part-time faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and supervise students in the Respiratory Care program
- Develop and implement curriculum for the program
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program goals and objectives
- Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Respiratory Care or a related field
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Washington
- 3+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Respiratory Care or a related field
- Experience in program development and accreditation
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the community college level
