Job Title: Clinical Professor - Respiratory Care

Job Summary:

Tacoma Community College is seeking a Clinical Professor - Respiratory Care to join our team. As a Clinical Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and supervising students in the Respiratory Care program. This is a part-time faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and supervise students in the Respiratory Care program
  • Develop and implement curriculum for the program
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program goals and objectives
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Respiratory Care or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Washington
  • 3+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Respiratory Care or a related field
  • Experience in program development and accreditation
  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the community college level
