Job Overview:
The Overnight Sales and Service Associate (OSSA) is an integral part of the Club Operations team, dedicated to ensuring a welcoming and informative atmosphere for both members and guests. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service that 24 Hour Fitness is known for, focusing on cleanliness, friendliness, and a well-maintained facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Interaction:
- Provide a warm greeting and prompt assistance to all members.
- Build and maintain personal relationships with members, serving as a reliable resource for inquiries.
- Address and resolve member concerns effectively, escalating issues when necessary.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment throughout the club, actively engaging on the floor and in locker rooms.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and team cleaning sessions.
Guest Services & New Member Integration:
- Facilitate a positive experience for guests by making them feel comfortable in the club.
- Conduct tours, discuss amenities, and answer questions regarding memberships.
- Motivate guests to pursue their fitness aspirations.
- Present the offerings of 24 Hour Fitness in an engaging manner.
- Clarify any misconceptions regarding both complimentary and paid fitness services.
- Assist new members in starting their journey by coordinating with Personal Trainers.
Retail and Promotions:
- Drive additional revenue through retail sales by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products.
- Ensure compliance with merchandising standards and promotional displays.
- Encourage member referrals and participation in club promotions.
Organizational Structure:
This position reports directly to the Sales & Service Manager.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of membership sales and administrative processes.
- Proficient computer skills for utilizing club systems and applications.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR and AED certification is mandatory, with training provided.
- Previous experience in customer service, particularly in overnight roles, is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 lbs, and navigate a dynamic environment with varying noise levels.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be necessary for training and meetings.

Compensation:
