Licensed Practical Nurse

About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Geriatric Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure the needs of our residents are met. You will also attend to the daily operations of the unit and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing basic physical assessments, and developing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
• Participate in unit-level leadership, assuming responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care.
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
• License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
