We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ICU team at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Appleton. The successful candidate will provide patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education, and advocacy.
The Registered Nurse will be accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and ThedaCare policy. They will work collaboratively with members of the care team to achieve patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by ThedaCare.
The ideal candidate will have a current Wisconsin RN Licensure, Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associates Degree in Nursing with an agreement to obtain the BSN within five years, and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR Associates Degree in Nursing with an agreement to obtain the BSN within five years
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of Fifty (50) pounds without assistance
- Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform patient care procedures
The Registered Nurse will work 36 hours per week, with a scheduled FTE of 0.9. The schedule includes day and night straight shifts, 12 hour shifts, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holiday schedule.
