We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at GQR Healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Care for diverse patient types, including those with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, and cardiac issues.
- Manage patient ratios of 1:3, based on acuity.
- Occasionally care for pediatric post-surgery patients.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of nursing experience, with 1+ year in ICU.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- Ability to read and interpret strips for ICU and MSU.
- Proficiency in handling medical equipment and managing insulin and cardiac gtts.
Support on the Unit:
- Charge nurse, RT, and Hospitalist available 24/7.
- Centralized Tele monitoring tech.
Additional Information:
- Charting System: Cerner.
- May float to Med Surg or ED as needed.
- Weekend rotation: Every other; no call required.
- Scrub Color: Any professional color.
- Free Parking available.
