We are seeking an experienced Roll Tender to join our team at Command Web Offset. As a Roll Tender, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily printing operations, ensuring the smooth production of high-quality prints.

• Assist the Press Operator and other crew members in the daily printing operations.
• Support the operation and maintenance of the press, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
• Follow the production schedule to ensure timely completion of printing jobs.
• Review job bags to obtain correct paper requirements, verifying that stock matches job tickets.
• Prepare and load paper into the splicer for use, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
• Monitor and maintain quality, ensuring customer requirements are met and exceeding expectations.
• Separate white and newsprint or ground wood in boxes for the bailer department.
• Complete required information on paper reports, including weights for any damage.
• Record information in the press communication log book, maintaining accurate records.
• Clean and maintain equipment on a daily basis and during scheduled maintenance.

• Ensure crew members adhere to all applicable safety standards.
• Be reliable and consistently at work and on time.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Display positive and effective communication with other team members.
• Be safety and quality-minded, with a focus on minimizing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work with minimal supervision, demonstrating individual contributor skills.
