About the Role:
The Hotel Assistant Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the Front Office operations, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up on guest requests and issues. This leader will monitor employee performance, providing guidance and support to ensure that our high standards are met, and our guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee Front Desk operations, acting as the manager on duty in the hotel. Ensure that all guest interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
• Direct and supervise Front Desk staff, ensuring that they provide excellent service to our guests. Perform tasks and duties as needed, maintaining a seamless service experience.
• Collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follow up on credit issues with the Front Desk Manager and/or Finance Department.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve Front Office operations, enhancing the guest experience and driving business growth.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of supervisory or assistant management experience in a luxury hotel or resort. Previous Rooms Division/Front Office experience is required, with multiple divisional experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job, with knowledge of Opera preferred.
