Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Control Operator to join our team at Entravision Communications. As a key member of our broadcast operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our daily programming schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment and Quality Control: Control all on-air equipment and maintain the quality of the final on-air signal. This includes live on-air audio/video switching, loading playlists, and executing daily programming using the Leitch automation system.
  • Recording and Organization: Oversee the dubbing of commercials and promotional spots into the Leitch system and maintain a daily program log. Record incoming feeds and ensure that all programming is accurately logged and organized.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC operating systems. Experience with broadcast equipment and automation systems is highly desirable.
  • Communication and Strategic Thinking: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and communicate with other departments.
  • Education and Experience: A degree in a related field and/or relevant experience in broadcast operations is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Master Control Experience: Previous experience in a master control environment is highly preferred.
