Procurement Specialist

The State of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join its team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in sourcing goods and services to support the state's operations.

This is a full-time employment opportunity with a salary range of $58,035 - $88,235 annually. The work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework options may be available, allowing you to work from home up to 4 days per week.

• Administer procurement activities, develop sourcing strategies, and manage contracts for assigned commodities.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate data to understand market dynamics and agency needs.
• Improve supplier performance, streamline costs, and assist with contract negotiations.

• Two years of experience as a Purchasing Agent or equivalent position.
• Or one year of experience as a Purchasing Agent Supervisor or Procurement Specialist 1.
• Five years of strategic procurement experience, including researching and evaluating commodities and suppliers.
• Or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
