Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a dedicated solo Class A CDL driver to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. As a driver with Ryder, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary, benefits, and bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle to transport goods and materials
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle

  • Loyalty bonus: pays $1500 after 6 months and $1500 after 12 months
