About the Role

As a Nurse in our Acute Care Lymphoma Myeloma PRN program, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing targeted cancer and radiation therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination with other healthcare team members.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in oncology nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required for certain units.
