Position Title: Physician - Psychiatrist for Outpatient Services
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Compensation: Competitive and negotiable
This role qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which provides reimbursement for student loan payments. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria in line with VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within the designated timeframe after appointment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States; non-citizens may only be considered when qualified citizens are unavailable as per VA Policy.
- Medical Degree: Must possess a Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Licensure: Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency: Completion of residency training in psychiatry is required.
