**Job Summary**

A Magnetic Resonance (MR) Technologist IV is a highly skilled professional responsible for providing diagnostic patient care services using MR and related diagnostic MR procedures. The scope of practice of the MRI Technologist IV includes those procedures, acts, and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (MR) registry, which is the standard of practice in Radiology.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide diagnostic patient care services using MR and related diagnostic MR procedures.
  • Operate and maintain MR equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest MR technology and techniques.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Current ARRT (MR) certification.
  • 8 years of experience as an MRI technologist.

**Work Schedule**

Primary shift: Day

26 hours a week

Wednesday and Friday (7:30am - 6:00pm)

Thursday (9:00am - 3:30pm)

On call: No

Weekends: No
