Compensation for this role includes a competitive hourly rate of $37.25-$40.00, plus night shift differential, reflecting the value we place on your skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate surgical recovery and distribution of deceased donor organs, working closely with hospital and transplant teams to ensure timely and efficient processes.
  • Review hospital records to determine medical suitability for donation, using your critical care expertise to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate the donation process, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage deceased organ donors, identifying required clinical information and communicating effectively with associated teams.
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives, contributing to ongoing improvement and excellence in our work.
Requirements:
  • An Associate's Degree in a healthcare field (RN, RT, or other) with 1 year of critical care experience, or a Bachelor's prepared critical care nurse preferred.
  • Critical care experience, effective communication with donor families, ability to maintain competency in clinical and technical skills, proficiency with ICU/OR equipment, and basic computer skills.
Work Environment:
  • Office environment, hospital clinical areas, and occasional travel to hospitals, meetings, and conferences within the service area.
  • Able to respond to dispatches and arrive at work sites as assigned, with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
