Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing preventive care and promoting oral health to our patients. You will work closely with our dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive dental care and ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene exams and provide personalized treatment plans to patients
  • Develop and implement effective preventive care strategies to promote oral health and prevent disease
  • Work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive dental care
  • Provide patient education on oral health and hygiene practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Texas
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
