Position Overview

  • Plan of Care: Adhere to established plans that incorporate measurable goals, taking into account the psychosocial and cultural backgrounds of patients.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records that comply with professional guidelines and ensure timely billing for services rendered.
  • Education: Provide education to patients and their families to promote independence and understanding of their treatment.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care and treatment outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to improve skills and knowledge in the field.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Licensure: Eligibility for licensure with the New Mexico State Physical Therapy Board is required, along with current BLS certification.
Work Schedule

This position may require occasional weekend shifts to meet patient care needs.
