Job Overview

At Panther Creek Mining, LLC, we are seeking a skilled Coal Seam Operator to join our team. As a key member of our underground mining crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our shuttle cars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough visual checks of shuttle cars and roadways to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Install or relocate shuttle car anchor points as needed.
  • Tram to miners, load shuttle cars, and return to dumping points.
  • Assist in moving miners from place to place and help with cable management.
Requirements:
  • Underground coal miner's certificate.
  • Annual 8-hour refresher training.
  • On-the-job experience.
  • Vocation training (optional).
  • Other qualifications as required by contract, regulations, and/or management.
Working Environment:

This role requires the operator to possess the dexterity to work and operate machinery and equipment in a coal seam height that varies. The operator must constantly be attentive to the changing geological conditions and surrounding environment.
