Avera is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests and procedures.

About the Role
  • Perform a range of clinical laboratory tests and procedures to provide accurate and reliable results.
  • Utilize scientific principles and technical expertise to ensure the quality and integrity of laboratory results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care and support.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two-year college program or technical school.
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, 8:30am-5:00pm; 48 hours every 2 weeks. Every 5th weekend and holiday. Weekday/weekend call schedule.
