Job Overview

AmerCom Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor - Party/Crew Chief to join our team in the Roadway, Bridge and Transit/Rail Design Division.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in surveying and will be responsible for collecting field data, operating survey instrumentation, and providing stake-out services. The successful candidate will also be responsible for training and developing junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record field data using robotic total stations and GNSS/GPS
  • Operate survey instrumentation and equipment
  • Provide stake-out services and ensure accurate layout
  • Train and develop junior staff members
  • Collaborate with survey managers to ensure project deadlines are met
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in surveying
  • Associates degree in land surveying or equivalent
  • Experience with robotic total stations and GNSS/GPS
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
