Fire Protection Specialist

As a Vallen Firefighter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our personnel and assets. We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Firefighters who can provide technical support in fire suppression, fire prevention, hazardous materials, emergency medical services, and other emergency response operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency incidents, providing critical services including emergency rescue, fire suppression, and emergency medical services.
• Participate in fire prevention operations, training, and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Identify, isolate, and contain hazardous materials in a safe and effective manner.
• Clean and maintain fire stations, equipment, and apparatus, ensuring they are in a constant state of readiness.
• Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of emergency response equipment and installed life safety systems.
• Maintain accurate records of emergency vehicle equipment logs and EMS supplies inventory.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or 6+ years of applicable direct experience and 5+ current certifications in fire protection and/or related fields.
• Familiarity with fire suppression, fire prevention, and hazardous materials operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, dusty conditions, and hazardous environments.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
