Physics Instructor

Temple College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor of Physics to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of physics courses, including introductory physics, mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics.
Responsibilities:- Teach a range of physics courses, including introductory physics, mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics.
- Develop and implement innovative course materials and pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning.
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional development.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in physics and education.
- Master's degree in Physics or a related field.
- Experience teaching physics courses at the college level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Doctoral degree in Physics or a related field.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- Experience with educational technology and online course delivery.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced academic environment, with a focus on student learning and success. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
