Responsibilities- Accurate Medical Record Keeping: Record patients' medical histories accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
- Monitoring and Measurement: Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and other vital signs.
- Patient Observation: Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side effects of medications, and any changes in their condition.
- Charting and Documentation: Monitor patients' condition, including fluid intake and output, and compose patient charts.
- Assisting with Daily Activities: Assist ailing patients with daily necessary activities, such as eating, bathing, and personal care.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, enemas, and other basic medical care tasks.
- Lab Testing: Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Communication: Communicate with patients' family members or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
- LPN Experience: Proven experience as an LPN or similar role.
- Teamwork: Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Confidentiality: Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
- Medical Terminology: Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
- Physical Demands: Perfect physical condition and stamina.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion: Compassionate and able to handle stress.
This is a full-time contract position with a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour. Benefits include a flexible schedule.
