Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Maintenance
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by maintaining a high level of organization and tidiness.
- Patient Care
- Welcome and comfort patients, assisting them into physical therapy apparel as needed.
- Provide information to patients by answering questions and addressing their concerns.
- Assist patients with exercises and strengthening techniques under the supervision of physical therapists.
- Administrative Tasks
- Record and maintain accurate patient notes and records.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies as needed.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with patients, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or a related field is highly desirable.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
This role requires prolonged standing, bending, and stretching, as well as the ability to lift and move equipment as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout their shift.
