About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT procedures, integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform most appropriate examination based on patient information through consultation with interpreting physician and/or ordering physician as necessary.
  • Operate CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and perform quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
  • Apply ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor. Evaluate patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.
  • Perform interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.
  • Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience, and license/certification/registration.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency.
  • PACS/RIS knowledge.
  • ARRT - R required at hire.
  • ARRT-CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
  • Washington state Radiology Technologist licensure required by date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

We offer a competitive salary range of $43.24-$64.39 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials.
