Role Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Attorney, you will manage a diverse caseload that includes:

  • Enforcement of property restrictions.
  • Contractual disputes.
  • Construction defect claims.
  • Other real property-related issues.

Key Duties:

  • Engage in substantial client interactions and public speaking engagements.
  • Oversee a significant project load along with administrative personnel.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of and independently manage all assigned cases.
  • Lead corporate meetings with clients.
  • Manage electronic task lists and billing processes.
  • Provide clients with updates regarding their case status.
  • Draft legal documents including complaints and answers, conduct discovery, prepare witnesses, take and defend depositions, handle motion practices, prepare for trials, conduct trials, and perform appellate work.
Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid license to practice law in Wisconsin.
  • 5 to 6 years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental entities in litigation-based civil matters.
  • Proven dedication and strong work ethic in previous positions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and other advanced software tools.
  • Availability during business hours, with some evenings and weekends for client meetings.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
