Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our ICU-STEP DOWN unit. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your knowledge and skills to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed to support the daily operations of the unit.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or Associate's degree.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Maryland.
  • AHA BLS CPR Certification.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
