JobsRUs is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold food items for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, using basic cooking techniques and following established recipes.
- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including grills, stoves, and mixers, to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use.
- Prepare meals for customers requiring special diets, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, or dairy-free options.
- Receive and store inventory, including foodstuffs and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including HACCP policies and procedures, to ensure the highest quality of food service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of related work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and cash-handling procedures a plus.
- A competitive hourly rate of $13.05.
