Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at WMC Health Network. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and registered nurses.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Assist patients with ambulation, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the growth and development of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Current registration/license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a licensed practical nurse in an acute care, inpatient, home care, and/or adult home setting.
  • Current BLS certification required.
Education

Graduation from a New York State approved Practical Nursing Program.

Additional Information

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
