Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney to enhance our distinguished legal team. The selected candidate will engage in a range of intricate commercial litigation cases, including but not limited to intellectual property disputes, entertainment law, corporate conflicts, and real estate litigation. This full-time, permanent role offers a stimulating and fulfilling environment conducive to professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage complex commercial litigation cases from inception through to appeal.
2. Provide expert legal counsel on various commercial disputes, including intellectual property and corporate ownership issues.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Represent the firm in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration sessions.
5. Conduct comprehensive legal research to remain informed on developments in commercial litigation.
6. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their legal needs are met.
7. Collaborate with team members to devise effective litigation strategies.
8. Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff within the legal department.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
2. 3-6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
3. Proven track record in intellectual property and corporate ownership disputes.
4. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
5. Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful dispute resolution.
6. Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
7. Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
11. Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration.
