Job Description

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher at Through the Looking Glass, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to young children. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing quality primary caregiving to infants or toddlers in a safe and supervised early care and education setting.
  • Promoting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Early Head Start children enrolled in the program.
  • Developing individual goals for children and providing screenings and ongoing assessments.
  • Fostering a supportive environment that encourages collaboration among teachers, staff, and parents.

Requirements

  • AA/AS and/or BA/BS in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
  • Training and experience working with infants and toddlers, as well as knowledge of child health, safety, and nutrition.
  • Experience in child assessments, infant/toddler curriculum, and working with diverse needs in a center-based program.
