Job Summary:
Henry Ford Health System is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Leader to join our team. As a Pediatric Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicate with the health care team.
- Demonstrate clinical competence.
- May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position.
- Works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
- Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
- Preferred experience in the specialty.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
Certifications/Licenses Required:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
- Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
