About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Chicago, Illinois. As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in the PICU or a related field
  • Active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements and certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
