Responsibilities
• Provide direct resident care, including age-appropriate interventions to meet physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Assess and assist with managing patient needs following physician orders and utilizing the nursing process.
• Perform routine nursing procedures to meet the needs of residents.
• Coordinate care and services with all team members, including nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Responsible for accurate completion of required documentation within established timeframes.
Qualifications
• Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing.
• Licensed in the State of Georgia as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Entry-level experience preferred, with long-term care experience a plus.
