Sunrise Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our hospital. Your expertise will help promote optimal drug use and evidence-based practices to reduce the risk of drug misadventures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and evaluate prescribed therapies to promote optimal drug use and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, laboratory test orders, and medication monitoring according to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team, nurses, physicians, and other facility staff to resolve conflicts between the Pharmacy and medical staff regarding drug therapy issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • One year of acute care hospital experience.
