Actuarial Director

Elevance Health is seeking an experienced Actuarial Director to join our team. As an Actuarial Director, you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and responding to financial risks inherent in the pricing and development of health insurance products.

• Prepare and interpret data and related formulae to inform business decisions.
• Monitor trends of profit and profitability by line of business and/or product.
• Serve as an Actuarial representative on major, multi-function projects.
• Organize and direct the staffing and workflow of the section.

• Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 6 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• FSA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).

• Extensive expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
• Highly proficient with a wide range of modern actuarial and financial resources, programs, and tools.
