Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and outgoing Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at Back2 Health Physical Therapy Inc. The successful candidate will assist and support our Physical Therapists with patients on the floor, while also maintaining the general maintenance of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the flow of patients in and out of the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Set up modalities, including heat/ice, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, light therapy, Class IV Deep Tissue Laser Therapy, and traction, under the supervision of the Therapist.
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and instruction, and inform Therapists of patient responses to treatments.
- Provide excellent customer service skills, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, Therapists, and other staff members, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.
- Take direction and follow-through with tasks, while also being self-directed when necessary.
- Judge good body mechanics and maintain a safe working environment.
- Have a good understanding of posture and muscle groups, and be familiar with medical terminology and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality, maintaining patient records and updating information as necessary.
- Complete opening and closing checklists each day, ensuring a thorough and accurate process.
- High School Diploma/GED required; current or planned enrollment to pursue a degree in a related clinical field is a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including morning and afternoon shifts.
