About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Optum in St. Paul, MN. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the dispensing of medical prescriptions and performing various clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and verifies them under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives, and stores pharmacy supplies
  • Processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records
  • Assists the Pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties and communicates effectively with strong verbal and written skills
