Your Role.
As an IT Operations Specialist within the Marsh LLC IT Platform Services team, you will serve as the primary contact for Level 2 technical escalations. Your role will involve utilizing your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve application-related issues, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime. You will manage alerts from Big Panda, swiftly addressing critical issues and collaborating with relevant teams for resolution. Monitoring system events and coordinating responses to error logs will be essential aspects of your responsibilities.
In terms of system upkeep, you will oversee server certificates for eMMA applications, ensuring their validity and correct configuration for secure communications. You will also handle server access requests and permissions, guaranteeing that only authorized personnel have access while upholding security protocols. Additionally, you will track and remediate outdated components within the Marsh LLC environment using the MMC Tech Application Technology Obsolescence Measurement (ATOM) application, ensuring that our applications remain current and efficient. Password management for AIX systems and service accounts will also fall under your purview.
Your role will be pivotal in compliance, managing Globalscape job processes to ensure secure file transfers in accordance with applicable regulations. You will also oversee access management for Kiteworks, a file-sharing and collaboration platform, ensuring appropriate permissions are granted and revoked as necessary. ImageRight storage management will be part of your compliance responsibilities, ensuring secure data storage that adheres to data protection regulations.
Moreover, you will engage in Qualsys remediation, focusing on deployment and patch management strategies, governance, and execution. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a secure and updated system. Handling firewall rule requests will be part of your migration support duties, ensuring network security while facilitating necessary access. You will also manage CSR24 transfer jobs, ensuring secure and efficient data transfers between systems. Building eMMA application servers and managing IVANS downloads on the server side will be integral to your migration support tasks, ensuring accurate and secure data transfers. Lastly, you will oversee the transfer of databases and content to support various projects.
