Welding Inspector Specialist

Job Title:
Welding Inspector
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing visual inspections of welded connections on various construction projects, conducting Ultrasonic Testing of welds as per Building Code, Project, and AWS specifications, and executing fabrication shop inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review construction project documents, including material submittals, construction drawings, and shop drawings.
- Verify welding personnel certifications and plant and personnel certifications.
- Conduct visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with project details regarding size and location.
- Perform Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, or Liquid Dye Penetrant testing as required.
- Communicate inspection results verbally and in writing using CTL reporting programs.
Requirements:
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification with D1.
- Experience in performing ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or liquid dye penetrant testing.
- Ability to review and understand construction documents.
- Wearing proper PPE, including fall protection equipment.
