Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Building Substitute to join our team at Regional School District 10. As a Building Substitute, you will be responsible for providing instructional support and supervision to students in the absence of a regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional support and supervision to students in grades K-12
  • Implement lesson plans and instructional activities as directed by the regular teacher
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Communicate with parents and guardians as needed
  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure a smooth transition of instruction

Requirements:

  • Teaching Certificate (preferred)
  • Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working 6.5 hours per day. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
