Make a Meaningful Impact in Home Health

Amedisys, Inc. is a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care, dedicated to helping patients and families navigate the complex healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of home health care and competency in discipline-specific patient care skills.
  • Coordinate orientation activities for new nursing and other disciplines as needed.
  • Facilitate the learning experience to allow mentees to perform competently in their required responsibilities.
  • Provide dedicated mentoring and program oversight to new graduates.
  • Assist with identification, education, and development of new and current peer mentors.
  • Plan specific learning experiences to promote the acquisition of new knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the job.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience in home health.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of clinical education, training, and clinician mentoring.
  • One year of nursing experience with Amedisys.
