Job Summary

A Penske Parts Clerk is responsible for managing inventory, executing shop administrative tasks, and organizing daily operations. This role will be based at the Penske facility, where the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing tire and parts inventory for assigned locations
  • Overseeing purchasing (excluding office supplies)
  • Handling warranty part ordering and returns
  • Processing and managing receipts, payables, and invoices from suppliers
  • Managing vendor performance for timely repairs and invoicing
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication
  • Scheduling preventative maintenance services with customers
  • Accurately inputting work requests into ServiceNet
  • Assisting with building and facility maintenance

Requirements:

  • 3 years of general office administration experience
  • 3 years of supervisory experience (preferred)
  • 1 year of inventory management experience (preferred)
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in using a computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • AS400 experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently, develop people skills, organizational skills, and good written and oral communication skills
