We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at StoryPoint. As a key member of our management team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for the overall success of our food service operations, ensuring exceptional quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Culinary Leadership: Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food preparation procedures to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Management: Hire, train, and supervise a team of culinary staff, including sous chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Food Cost Control: Manage food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Menu Engineering: Analyze sales data and customer feedback to develop and implement menu changes that drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food products meet our high standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests, ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
- Culinary Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior living or upscale dining environment, with a proven track record of success in culinary leadership and menu development.
- Certifications: Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
This position requires standing for long periods, frequent walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
