Survey Field Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Survey Field Technician to join our team at Cage Engineering Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying and be proficient in modern surveying techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
  • Collect and record accurate survey data for various projects.
  • Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure proper data collection and staking.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot surveying equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying or a related field.
  • Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
