ABOUT EXETER JOB CORPS ACADEMY

We are dedicated to the Job Corps program's mission of equipping eligible young individuals with the skills necessary for employability and independence, ultimately placing them in meaningful jobs or further educational pursuits. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding, Electronics Engineering, and Patient Care.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS AT EXETER JOB CORPS

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, verification of employment history, educational credentials, professional references, and motor vehicle record check.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively recruit new students by engaging with the community - attending job fairs, collaborating with local agencies, and conducting tours for prospective students and their families.
  • Develop recruitment materials for potential students and assist in assessing their eligibility.
  • Foster supportive and mentoring relationships with students throughout their time in the program.
  • Oversee, create, monitor, and update student transition plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social sciences, communications, or a related field from an accredited institution; or an Associate's degree in a similar field combined with two years of relevant experience in youth programs.
  • Prior experience in sales or recruitment is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid in-state driver's license and meet company insurability standards.
