About the Opportunity

HealthPartners Institute is seeking a full-time Physician Research Investigator with both clinical and research experience relevant to the study of chronic disease in adult populations. As a Clinical Research Leader, you will conceptualize and design research projects, lead and collaborate on such projects, and disseminate research results through presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and develop externally funded research programs
  • Conduct nationally and internationally recognized scholarly clinical or health services research
  • Collaborate with other investigators, clinicians, and leaders to improve health outcomes and care delivery

Requirements:

To be successful as a Clinical Research Leader, you should have:

  • A MD/DO or equivalent degree and clinical experience in internal medicine, family medicine, hospital medicine, preventive medicine, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and potential to lead an active portfolio of externally funded research
  • Prior history as first author of scholarly peer-reviewed publications
  • Methodologic expertise in qualitative or quantitative approaches
  • Strong people skills and oral and written communication skills
  • A current Minnesota or Wisconsin Medical license or eligibility for MN or WI medical license based on an active medical license in another state and in good standing

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
