Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our in-house travel team. This 11-13 week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with the option to extend for an additional 13 week assignment if available.
Responsibilities- Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services, or designee, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
- Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
- Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration. Former employees must be separated from Southcoast for at least 9 months to be eligible.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Minimum of one year of Cath Lab nursing experience required.
- Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
- Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.
- Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications.
- Epic experience is preferred.
- $70/hr
- Health Insurance and 403B retirement plan eligible
